The primary Responsibilities of this role, Associate Director Incentives are to:
  • Responsible for design, communication, and execution of incentive programs, which includes financial and MBO based programs, in partnership with Director, Sales Incentive Strategy and Effectiveness to ensure on-going alignment of incentive measures outcomes with corporate sales and marketing objectives.
  • Lead Incentive Planning project teams for Oncology and facilitates discussions between VP/GM, Senior Sales and Marketing Management, Commercial Ops, and cross-functional teams to drive end to end IC design and implementation activities.
  • Maintain ongoing responsibility of updating databases and maintenance of incentive compensation technology and make recommendations to the Director, Sales Incentive Strategy and Effectiveness on enhancements through development of metrics to measure the company's performance by designing and deploying insightful reporting.
  • Monitor incentive budget to actual for financial activities on a monthly / quarterly basis. Reports incentive budget forecast to expense to Director, Sales Incentive Strategy and Effectiveness and controlling with appropriate recommendations.
  • Performs complex research and analysis of rewards and incentive compensation programs in support of business objectives.
  • Lead projects involving the development of innovative models methodologies, and approaches.
  • Manage the development of the Quarterly Incentive Performance Analysis is to gauge the incentive plan outcomes to goals.
  • Present and publish the Incentive Performance Analysis on time to Director, Sales Incentive Strategy and Effectiveness, Sales and Marketing Senior Management e.g., Division VP/GMs, SVP, Finance, National Sales Directors, and Field Sales Directors.
  • Manages the production, analysis, and publication of Monthly Incentive Reports, Sales Contest Reports, Pinnacle and President’s Circle Reports, Payouts, and Annual Incentive Survey. Manages and facilitates monthly analysis and all field communication on sales force performance at all levels (as it relates to incentive Planning) to maximize corporate sales outcomes.
  • Effectively oversees external vendor staff and resources required to maintain the Incentive Compensation System-(SalesIQ). Responsible for development of all statements of work ensuring requirements are captured, fees are reasonable and within budget, and the project is completed on schedule.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree OR at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of field sales and business application.
  • Understanding of prescriber and account based selling models.
  • Proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to create effective presentations and influence decision making with senior leadership.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Healthcare or Pharma industry OR Master’s degree with at least 3 years of related industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of experience in Design, Development, and implementation of sales incentive plans in the Healthcare or Medical device industry.
  • Proficient with Sales IQ.
