*What we offer: $19.25 (including shift pay) *3:30PM-12AM shift hours, Monday - Friday *Benefits start Day 1 *New employee training in the safe operation of equipment

Your responsibilities

  • As a machine operator, you may be assigned to Wash Room, Molding, Paint Room, or Testing
  • *Wash Room:
  • oLoad and unload conveyor with electrically tested parts
  • oWipe excess residue after wash ensuring the parts are clean, dry, and ready for packaging
  • *Molding:
  • oOperate heated molding presses to mold and cure products
  • oInspect each piece for cosmetic flaws; use light to inspect interior of work pieces
  • oTrim excess flash from product using a scalpel or grinding tool as needed
  • oRemove molded pieces from press upon completion of cycle, remove tooling from work pieces
  • *Paint Room:
  • oOperate manual or semi-automatic painting application including grit blasting machines
  • oDilute paint as required
  • *Testing:
  • oOperate semiautomatic or manual testing equipment
  • oLoad and unload test parts
  • oSpray test parts with oil as a part of the test process
  • *Manual material handling
  • *Meet established standard quality and productivity expectations
  • *Follow job Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) complete
  • *Maintain accurate quality and production records
  • *Proper use of PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toed boots, and others as applicable
Your background

  • *High School diploma or equivalent
  • *Prior manufacturing experience preferred
  • *Basic proficiency in computer systems and applications preferred
  • *Ability to lift up to 40lbs
  • *Ability to perform repetitive operations and pull/push functions
  • *Ability to stand for 8 hours daily
  • *Comfortable bending, twisting, reaching
  • *Comfortable working with heavy equipment and in a non-climate controlled environment
  • *Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
