As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will coordinate product and manufacturing engineering projects, provide engineering support and direction for all production departments in order to solve manufacturing problems, improve yield, and product quality. You will also develop new and innovative ideas in the manufacturing facility supporting the scope and goals of the plant.

Manufacturing Engineering Manager

• Develop and optimize new manufacturing processes, equipment and fixtures.
• Perform process capability studies ensuring manufacturing processes are in control.
• Provide technical assistance for applicable departments to ensure the smooth operation of processes.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions.
• Provide departments with process input for new and redesigned products.
• Work with manufacturing specialists to troubleshoot existing molds, processes and equipment.
• Responsible for accuracy of product routing and times.
• Continuously improve the production floor through standardizing manufacturing methods.
• Manage long term capital improvement projects.
• Work with tool engineering to complete proofing of all new tooling.

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience in process development, and/or lean manufacturing methods desired.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40lbs, perform bending, twisting, reaching motions, pull/push functions and perform repetitive operations.
• Must be comfortable working with heavy equipment and in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
