About the role

As a Senior Access Engineer, you will hold a critical role within the organization's IT security team, focusing on developing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable access management solutions. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that the right individuals have the appropriate access to technology resources, mitigating risks associated with access controls. This includes managing the lifecycle of user identities, from onboarding to termination, and everything in between.

Your expertise in various Access Management technologies will be key in designing and executing strategies that protect sensitive data and systems from unauthorized access. You will be expected to have a deep understanding of both technical and policy aspects of access management, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM).

In this role, you will also lead projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align access management practices with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Your strategic mindset and problem-solving skills will be crucial in continuously improving access management frameworks to adapt to the evolving security landscape.

Role Responsibilities:

CyberArk Management:

  • Implement, manage, and maintain CyberArk PAS.

  • Troubleshoot issues and create PAM policies.

Privileged Access Management (PAM):

  • Develop and enforce access controls.

Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-factor Authentication (MFA):

  • Implement and manage SSO & MFA solutions.

  • Monitor systems and ensure security protocols are adhered to.

Security Protocols:

  • Develop, implement, and manage security protocols.

  • Monitor privileged sessions.

  • Ensure all protocols are compliant with relevant regulations.

Audit and Compliance:

  • Perform audits and generate reports.

  • Ensure compliance with security standards.

Incident Management:

  • Handle and investigate security incidents related to access.

  • Work with cybersecurity teams.

Automation:

  • Create and implement automation scripts for IAM processes.

Documentation:

  • Maintain documentation related to IAM processes and configurations

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in related field of study plus 10 years of experience in IT with 8 years being focused in Cyber security; or equivalent combination of educations and work experience

  • Experience responding to audits related to IAM processes and toolsets.

  • Experience in security domains such as: Network Security, Email Security, Infrastructure Security, Endpoint Security and Response, Network Security, Cloud Security, Compliance, Governance, Cryptography, IAM, Privacy, Risk Management.

  • Understanding lifecycle management of Identity throughout large complex organization

  • Experience building simplified processes that are robust in exceeding security and compliance requirements.

  • Experience providing operational support in a global environment.

  • Strong hands-on experience in one or more major firewall vendor as well as exposure to Azure firewall controls and policies

  • Experience in change management and ticket resolution

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree or equivalent work experience

  • 12 years in IT with 10 years being in IAM

  • Ability to think strategically and tactically, with effective decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication skills

The salary range for this role is: $ $122,994 to $166,404 plus a 18% bonus.
