We're hiring for a PCS- Family Office Manager for our East Hanover office. Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:

  • Review of general bookkeeping for individuals, trusts, investment entities, family partnerships, operating companies and foundations without supervision.
  • Review of monthly and quarterly financial statements including client reporting packages and ad-hoc reports. Familiarity with both cash basis and accrual basis financial reporting
  • Has basic knowledge of alternative investment accounting and ability to record contributions, distributions, K-1 income etc.
  • Ability to reconcile/record capital statement activity
  • Review of bill pay and related documentation. Assist and guide staff in the interaction with vendors and client as necessary when discrepancies arise.
  • Monitors that tasks are assigned and completed on a timely basis and reviews workflow by working directly with the staff and seniors
  • Manages multiple assignments inside an engagement
  • Communicates with Partner on work status and client issues that arise
  • Leads small to medium sized engagements with finalized document and report requiring minimal change upon review
  • Provide quality client service while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
  • Supervise, train and mentor staff

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 3+ years' of relevant work and industry experience
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and also work well with others
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize deliverables to meet competing deadlines
