Job Description

The Health Systems Engineering Project Manager position provides consultation on internal business operations to support strategic development and project execution. The position is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects that align with the mission and vision of the health system. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, healthcare professionals, and internal/external stakeholders, to drive successful project outcomes.

The role is responsible for the development of comprehensive project plans, establishment of key milestones and project goals with operational leads, and management of project teams. The role will oversee the execution of project tasks to ensure achievement of milestones and deadlines. The Project Manager is responsible for fostering effective communication between team members & with stakeholders, and ensuring all are aligned with project objectives. The role must identify potential project risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and proactively address/resolve issues that may impact project timelines and deliverables. Projects include implementation of new systems/software, opening of new care locations, conversion and upgrade of medical equipment, crisis management and response plans, and process improvement.

Education: Master's degree required. Five years experience. Credentialed Project Management Professional (PMP) or in progress.
