Job Description

Scheduling Optimization Manager is responsible for managing and leading the Capacity Management Analysts (I & II) and/or Team Leads in all aspects related to Montefiore Scheduling Optimization as well as other Montefiore priorities, such as MyChart patient portal. Serving as the primary interface for clients at the managerial (administrative), physician and executive leadership levels, and a source of knowledge (professional direction and expertise) for Capacity Management Analysts (I & II) and/or Team Leads, the Scheduling Optimization Manager will successfully establish, build and develop strong internal and external working relationships throughout the Montefiore delivery system utilizing superior communication skills and business acumen. Responsibilities also include the daily management and oversight of all operational and administrative activities directly related to Capacity Management goals and objectives, ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction. A successful Scheduling Optimization Manager will oversee the long-term management and maintenance of all Montefiore Access relationships, overseeing and/or leading various projects, motivating team members (coaching and mentoring), sustaining growth, and moving the team to the long-term vision of Montefiore while reporting program status, potential risks to internal and external constituents.

Required

A strong candidate will have the following experience and/or skill-set:

Bachelors degree in healthcare or related business concentration required; Master's degree preferred

5 years + of experience leading multiple projects simultaneously in a product-driven environment

Epic Cadence & MyChart Certification

Project Management certification preferred
Exceptional organization, presentation and customer service skills
Experience and/or knowledge of Healthcare operations and Healthcare information systems
Background in Customer Service, Client Services, or Account Management with a proven track record of success
Strong presentation skills with the confidence to present to large, executive-level audiences
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook)
Travel required
