Posting Summary | This position includes responsibilities at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) and RWJBarnabas Health System (RWJBH) as a Division Chief and System Director for Pediatric Surgery. The candidate will be a board-certified pediatric general surgeon at the Associate or Professor level and expected to have responsibility and oversight for the operation and programmatic aspects of the division and to provide system-wide leadership to pediatric surgery. The individual will actively participate in medical student, resident and fellow education through didactic lectures, research activities, evaluation of programs, interviews, small group sessions and/or clinical supervision. In addition, the Division Chief/System Director will be expected to participate in all aspects of clinical care, including mentoring of junior faculty at all sites where care is administered. |
