Overview

Pharming is seeking to hire a Manager, Incentive Compensation (Sales) as a member of our commercial operations team. Our goal is to have the successful candidate be responsible for the administration and development of our field sales team incentive compensation program. Successful execution will involve ensuring data integrity and curation through testing and validation of the CRM and shipment data. This role will also be responsible for creating and maintaining reports to be used by the sales force as well as sales management and senior leadership in support of incentive compensation programs.

Key Responsibilities

The Manager, Incentive Compensation (Sales) will be responsible for a wide variety of matters in support of Pharming's growth as we increase the number of both pipeline and marketed products.

Core functions include:

  • Managing incentive goal setting process and administration with the field.
  • Supporting and administrating Incentive Compensation functions within software environment.
  • Maintaining timely and accurate delivery of all sales incentive reports, schedules, and visuals.
  • Investigating, responding, and resolving field sales inquiries and ensures resolution is communicated and/or implemented in all systems and reports.
  • Evolving existing reports and presentations into Tableau or similar tool.
  • Conducting ad hoc analysis for the Commercial team using BI tools, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Conducting incentive compensation system training to sales force and resolve inquiries on data, processes, and IC platform.
  • Exploring areas where data visualization can increase efficiency of commercial departments.
  • Ensuring data accuracy, troubleshoot issues, and providing user training and support.
  • Proactively identify business reporting challenges, and work with technology partners to devise and deliver solutions.
  • This is a hybrid role; 2 to 3 days at US HQ office, Warren, NJ.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MBA or MS in a quantitative or engineering discipline and
    • 3+ years of experience working with commercial data in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry OR
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or quantitative discipline
    • 5+years of experience working with commercial data in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of sales operations technologies, models, and analyses.
  • Deep knowledge of and experience working with biopharmaceutical market data (meaning of data, limitations of data, ability to manipulate, etc.) including Specialty Pharmacy data, IMS and SHA data.
  • Excellent technical skills (e.g. Excel, Tableau, SQL, Python, Alteryx, SFDC/Veeva, etc.).
  • Strong business visualization skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Aptitude to work closely with sales and marketing teams and internal stakeholders to support the development of sales strategies, tactics and ongoing performance management
  • Solid organizational skills, great attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
  • Demonstrated ability to work systematically and with high efficiency, achieving the relevant results on time and at a high standard.
  • Strong interpersonal presentation skills required.
