Your role as a Senior Editor

As a Senior Editor, you will bring a passion for tactical execution to our growing creative team. You will partner with account teams in coordination and execution of marketingprojects for major pharmaceutical clients. This is a remote role and report into the Editorial Supervisor.

You will:

  • Provide editorial review for all assigned projects, including copy-editing, fact checking, and proofreading
  • Demonstrate ability in organizing, prioritizing, and managing workload against competing timelines for multiple projects
  • Edit all types of projects, both print and digital, ensuring correct grammar, spelling, usage, and adherence to AMA style and client style guides
  • Partner with account, operations, and freelance teams to ensure efficient processes are created and completed
  • Fact check information and verify accuracy of claims
  • Become familiar with assigned products and the clients' objectives, including product information, visual aids, important trials, journal articles, and related promotional materials
  • Work remotely (via Workfront/Box platforms) while communicating with team as issues arise to ensure the successful completion of projects
  • Maintain editorial style sheets for assigned brands
  • Organize and file references for each product in the brand reference folder

You will bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
  • 4+ years of pharmaceutical industry/medical editing experience
  • Experience editing medical content and knowledge of AMA style
  • Sense of urgency and positive attitude with organized and efficient approach

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations.
