Job Summary

The Site and Patient (S&P) Clinical Solutions business unit is the Syneos Health accelerator for life sciences innovation. S&P Clinical Solutions houses our advanced technology acquisitions - StudyKIK, delivers critical insights as part of our integrated strategy for customers and drives enterprise-wide adoption and change management for innovative site and patient solutions. This role directly supports our business growth goals by directly focusing on generation of new sales opportunities for the strategic growth of all clinical solutions products and services.

The Account Manager, Global Account Management is a key member of the collaborative business development organization responsible for the strategic lead generation of StudyKIK/Clinical Solutions across all products and services. StudyKIK works with a variety of customers and partners, in North America and globally.

The Account Manager, Global Account Management will be an energetic self-starter who is accountable and responsible to drive and manage the generation of new sales opportunities across the StudyKIK portfolio of products to support recruitment, retention, and eClinical solutions. The Account Manager will drive and manage the generation of new sales opportunities using web, telephone, email, data sources, online communities, and conference attendance, for the designated territory given by management. Activities include new account development, promotion of specific Business Development (BD) incentives and attainment of sales goals. The Account Manager will help to support the BD and Marketing teams in the development of a sophisticated lead generation, nurturing, and handoff process, which results in BD Directors receiving a steady flow of well-qualified leads.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serves as a resource for Account Management within the company and develops and executes innovative approaches to strategic lead generation.
  • Drives RFP pipeline and hit rates through lead generation, pipeline development, and territory management.
  • Contributes actively to achieving or exceeding targets established by the company.
  • Qualify opportunities by understanding Sponsor needs, budgets, decision makers and competition, in line with the experience, competencies and capabilities of the company.
  • Interacts regularly with the BD Directors; participate in internal teleconferences and meetings, and provide concise, current status updates.
  • In partnership with the BD group, is responsible for driving the completeness and accuracy of the contact list in chosen CRM system.
  • Tracks and maintain all activity in the customer relationship management (CRM) database.
  • Supports marketing initiatives including conferences by scheduling meetings and managing follow up items.
  • Learn, understand, and present StudyKIK's service offerings, products, pricing, and differentiators and establish problem solving solutions for clientele when it comes to patient enrollment and retention solutions and eClinical services
  • Represent Syneos Health/StudyKIK in a positive and professional manner at all times

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, marketing or related field of study.
  • A minimum of 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

  • Understanding of the clinical process (Phase I-IV) and patient recruitment/eClinical service area offerings.
  • Understanding of the basic sales cycle.
  • Strong at sourcing new opportunities
  • Excellent communication, effective presentation, and organizational skills
  • Provide clear direction and accountabilities with strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple priorities
  • Strong motivational, problem-solving and influence skills
  • Demonstrable experience driving sales within a highly competitive market
  • Practices professionalism and integrity in all actions - demonstrated commitment to teamwork, cooperation, self-control, and flexibility
  • Experience with CRM software and usage is preferred
  • Excellent skills using MS Office Suite/Applications
  • Up to 25% travel for company meetings and industry conferences, as needed
  • Ability to communicate in English (both verbal and written

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $65,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
