Our next Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in the revitalization, construction, and maintenance of the Financial Planning and Analysis function of the Northeast. The ideal individual is intellectually curious and energized by the challenge of identifying new opportunities and enjoys solving complex problems. The Senior Financial Analyst will learn all facets of the Northeast business operations to develop reports, tools, and processes which accurately evaluate actual performance against intended business strategy and plans. The Senior Financial Analyst will effectively summarize findings and be able to articulately communicate a clear, professional interpretation of the analysis, findings and results, and make specific recommendations for action. The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for ensuring that individual and group business unit owners have access to timely, clear, and concise detailed data to facilitate decision making.

Where you'll be planted:
This is a hybrid role, but will be heavily remote. It's expected that our Senior Financial Analyst is onsite at either our King of Prussia, PA office or one of our Northeast Grow/Processing locations once per quarter minimum, with maximum onsite requirement of once per month.
To be blunt, this role will be about:
    • Developing and maintaining KPI analyses and readable dashboards across the Company and proactively meets with senior managers, managers, and business partners to stay informed about current business goals and drivers.
    • Performing quantitative and qualitative analysis on available data, metrics, and trends. Expands existing reports and analysis to identify meaningful insights/opportunities to drive the business forward through financial modeling and forecasting.
    • Providing day-to-day support of existing analysis tools and uncover ideas about how to improve the design and capabilities of existing reports.
    • Synthesizing financial, sales, marketing, and operational data to create actionable dashboards and professional presentations for key stakeholders e.g., divisional leadership, executive leadership, front line management, etc.
    • Promoting use of new metrics and data visualization tools/techniques to make recommendations of operational adjustments/changes that may be needed to improve results.
    • Supporting the Company's near-term ERP activities as it relates to data integrity & validation.
    • Performing ad-hoc queries/reports as necessary to provide support special initiatives and decision making.

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance or other relevant analytical degree.
    • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with 3 years of experience in a Finance, FP&A, or Accounting role.
    • Data Analysis & Trending experience with demonstrated proficiency in analytical methodologies, tools, and dashboard development to interpret, visualize, simplify and present/communicate data and analyses.
    • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to work independently to prioritize workload and handle multiple responsibilities, deadlines, etc.
    • Experience in a cost accounting environment and/or familiarity with standard costing preferred.
    • Highly-advanced Microsoft Excel skills are a must.
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
    • High attention to detail to identify, evaluate and resolve data quality issues and reasonability check analytical results.
    • Thrives in a team-oriented, results-driven environment.
    • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with senior officials across the organization.
    • Professional written and verbal communication with multiple levels and departments.
