Job Purpose
As a Senior UI Developer, you will be part of the team building the Next Gen no-code/low-code platform to facilitate rapid development and rollout of various business applications across the firm. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, passionate to explore and learn new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and build responsive web application portal with clean & lean code.
- Build reusable UI components which can be leveraged by other applications & teams across the organization.
- Design & build complex UI forms with interrelated form input components.
- Implement automated testing for UI component, functional and cross browser testing.
- Participate in peer code review process and guide other developers within and across teams.
Knowledge and Experience
- Strong proficiency in React UI library - Hooks, JSX, Context, State
- Hands on experience using react router for UI routing.
- Extensive experience building grid components using ag-grid.
- Strong knowledge of building complex forms using libraries like Formik.
- Proficient working knowledge with TypeScript and publishing Type Definitions
- String knowledge of build responsive UI screens using Bootstrap, SCSS, CSS3
- Experience with UI build & packing using Webpack, Babel.
- Experience building various charts using libraries like AG Charts, Highcharts.
- Knowledge of code quality utilities like linting, prettier
- Strong debugging & troubleshooting using React Dev Tools
- Extensive experience implemented automated testing using libraries like Cypress, Puppeteer
- Working knowledge of cross browser testing.
- Knowledge on building native mobile applications using React Native will be a plus.
- Knowledge of GraphQL and experience building high-traffic (100s-1000s simultaneous users) web interfaces will be a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in similar role.
Schedule
This role offers work from home flexibility of 1 day per week.
New York Base Salary Range
The expected base salary for this role if located in New York City is between 139,200 - 195,700 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
