Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Treasury Services Associate.

In this role, the successful candidate is responsibilities for independent resolution and/or analysis of accounts/payments to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payments to patient and special accounts. Accurately calculates monies posted and tabulates, collates and reports all information in order to properly receipt monies received on a daily basis. Identifies accounts that need follow-up and works independently in accomplishing reduction of unidentified payments received, conducts activities in accordance with departmental/Medical center guidelines: responds to the needs and requests of authorized representatives.

Job Responsibilities:

Specific - Operations:

    • Cash and Accounts Payable Reporting
    • Payroll / Accounts payable check printing and distribution
    • Stop Payments, Global payments and ACH Transfers
    • Check/ ACH investigation and other Research requested by Departments
    • Review and process jpoint web transactions and bank deposit on a daily basis
    • Ensure bank deposits (cash and checks) are processed completed on a daily basis
    • Maintain log of daily receipts
    • Maintain daily cashier reconciliation recap; report any discrepancies to management
    • Receive daily mail receipts that have been balanced and stamped for deposit/ verify receipt
    • Process insurance refund checks with remittance advice for directly mailing to payers
    • Liaise with banks, as necessary, with requests and follows ups as necessary related to cash operations
    • Utilize PeopleSoft and other reporting systems to generate reports and analysis related to cash receipts, payments and other cash transactions
    • Perform cash analysis and reconciliations and report out daily cash positioning to management on a daily basis
    • ADHOCS

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a High School Diploma or the equivalent.
Minimum of two years experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Associates Degree
Experience: A minimum 5 years of similar or related experience with a not-for-profit, healthcare.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
o Ability to prioritize work assignments to maintain effective department operations
o Effective verbal and written communication skills
o Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Internet Banking System

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $51,243.96 - $73,087.57 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
