Responsibilities

In this position with Peraton Labs, you will serve as the laboratory manager of a small development, integration, and test facility.

Your responsibilities will include:

    Maintaining positive control of all laboratory assets (e.g. IT equipment, power tools, engineering test equipment, robotic systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, sensor systems, field test support assets).
  • Supporting the planning and equipment preparation for CONUS and OCONUS field tests / demonstrations including packaging and shipping.
  • Attending CONUS and OCONUS field tests and providing support to setup, perform, and break down experimental test setups.
  • Serve as certified pilot of unmanned aerial systems as well as robotic ground vehicle systems during field tests and demonstrations.
  • Represent the laboratory at Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings where you will assist in creating project schedules and managing laboratory tasks / assets in the context of multiple program efforts.
  • Create annual purchasing plan for laboratory assets, create laboratory budget, and procure needed items to replace consumables, support field testing, as well as accommodate laboratory growth.
Qualifications
  • 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
  • Additional experience will be considered in lieu of formal education
  • Experience managing / controlling laboratory assets in a DoD environment.
  • Experience planning and supporting laboratory-based weapon and sensor system testing.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple IPTs and balance the needs of multiple Programs.
  • Experience planning and supporting live fire weapon and sensor system testing.
  • U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
  • Willingness to travel both CONUS and OCONUS up to 25%.

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
