Software Engineer

Job Description
Software Engineer, Gartner, Inc., Stamford, CT. Assist in the development of several React-based web applications critical to the Digital Performance Benchmark (DPB) team’s operations. Design and implement unit and integration testing and support Web based applications and services. Review and analyze business requirements. Collaborate with teams and stakeholders on architecture and technical design. Innovate and showcase new approaches to improve efficiency. Perform and participate in code reviews, peer inspections and technical design/specifications. Document and review detailed design.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and two (2) years of related work experience.
Must have two (2) years of experience with/in:
· Web application development;
· React JavaScript or React Native;
· Web services, including RESTful APIs; and
· Unit and integration testing.
100% telecommuting permitted.
