Job Description

Senior Credit & Counterparty Risk Analyst (Summit, New Jersey)

Analyze and perform financial oversight of Bank's Strategic Partners and risk management for Commercial Credit Administration. Conduct complicated commercial portfolio reviews using quantitative methods to analyze asset performance. Evaluate counterparty risk through cash flow modeling, funding strategies, and capital market activities. Perform due diligence, including analyzing financial data, developing strategies, challenging assumptions, and forecasting financial performance to negotiate and test financial covenants. Produce risk assessments and administrative review of underwriting. Direct capital stress test, analyses and strategic decision making through financial modeling of stress scenarios. Supervise development of software to manage and monitor risk on revolving credit facilities. Ongoing portfolio monitoring of financial covenants and performance. Manage credit risk of securitizations by preparing investment memos, reports, and reviews for policy adherence. Develop, enhance, and ensure compliance with Bank's internal credit policies.

Requires: Master's Degree in Business Administration or Finance, plus 2 years of Financial Analyst experience, and proficiency with SQL, R, Tableau, Excel modeling, Financial Forecasting; Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Fintech, Fixed Income Securities, Structured Finance, and Capital Markets.
