Job Description
Cox Automotive is seeking a Financial Analyst II, working in a successful team environment supporting reporting, budget/forecasting activities, long-range planning and ad hoc financial analysis. A key responsibility of this role is supporting our Retail Client Operations organization on Month end deliverables, capacity forecasting and tracking, and metrics analytics for all expenses. This will include key labor analysis required to manage trends by department and to stay within budget constraints. Candidates must also have a solid understanding of financial management concepts, complex modeling, accounting procedures, variance analysis, and the ability to analyze large data sets. The candidate is also expected to quickly gain an understanding of our wide portfolio of businesses with application to these responsibilities.

This role may reside in any Cox Automotive Retail Location including Atlanta, GA, North Hills, NY, Burlington, VT, and Mission, KS.

RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):

  • Monthly consolidation of financial expense results, variance analysis, R&O forecast, and key performance metrics to identify trends and make recommendations based on risks and opportunities, operational efficiencies, and overall financial alignment with team's goals and objectives.
  • Drive the development of labor forecasts to align capacity plans which support business needs.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of monthly metrics package across Implementation and Client Care assisting with analysis as it relates to performance indicators by brand
  • Partner with Retail Client Operations leads and matrix partners to ensure accurate, timely reporting and analysis for all ad hoc requests.
  • Work to support the partnership between the Retail Client Support team and the Center of Excellence team to ensure communication and transparency as it relates to key performance drivers and metrics.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting with 2+ years of finance experience include a strong focus in Financial Planning and Analysis. A candidate may also have a Master's Degree with 2 years of relevant experience or a Ph.D. with 1+ year of experience. Non-degreed candidates must have 8+ years of experience.
  • Experience with OneStream Enterprise Financial system strongly preferred
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Strong analytical ability with track record of delivered results
  • Solid analytical and research capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with flexibility and willingness to balance multiple, changing priorities and work under tight deadlines and experienced in organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating one's own work
  • Work effectively on multiple assignments, activities, or projects
  • Advanced MS Excel skills required, including formulas, financial functions, pivot tables, design, and formatting for executive presentations


USD 64,200.00 - 96,400.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $64,200.00 - $96,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
