Overview:

Oce Business Services has an exciting new opportunity for a Records Manager. We are currently seeking a high energy, customer service oriented individual to support our records department in Branchburg, NJ. The candidate we are presently seeking must have previous records management experience, customer service experience and excellent computer skills. Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and secures records in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Works directly with internal clients providing RM services, including file creations and organization, daily filing, indexing of documents, preparing materials for off-site storage, file tracking, and other related tasks.
  • Prioritize and schedule all work.
  • Ensure staff is meeting quality and productivity standards
  • Ensure proper maintenance and usage of all equipment and supplies
  • Ensure production targets onsite are met daily, weekly, and monthly
  • Initiate communication and problem solving with regard to customer concerns
  • Hire, train, develop, and appraise staff effectively.
  • Manage budget and control expenses effectively
  • Accesses, edits, and maintains RM database, including auditing and updating circulation data.
  • Ensure that general safety practices and any unique departmental safety practices are adhered
  • Maintain daily RM statistical reports and submit weekly statistical reports
  • Attends and participates in departmental meetings and RM training opportunities as they are scheduled/offered.
  • Back-up for Iron Mountain staff to cover vacations etc.
  • Special projects as assigned.


Qualifications:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Associates Degree or higher required.
  • Must be able to work with record management software and tracking systems.
  • Excellent computer skills; spreadsheets applications
  • Advanced customer service skills, professional attitude & appearance
  • Create a customer-focused environment
  • Strong organizational, administrative, record keeping & time management skills.
  • Successful track record in motivating and managing a staff
  • Ability to manage to 3 to 8 non-exempt employees
  • This Manager must have excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • The candidate selected must be dependable, reliable, detail oriented with good organizational skills as well as have self-initiative
  • Effective oral communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with firm personnel at all levels with high degree of professionalism.
